Maxim Capital Group is a private real estate investment company specializing in providing short term capital for commercial real estate opportunities nationwide. With over 50 years of combined lending, development, and structured finance experience, Maxim is able to create solutions to meet your capital needs. As the recent financial crisis and resulting monumental losses continue to roil the market, institutional lenders have been forced to the sidelines and traditional capital markets have become largely inoperative. The limited supply of funding has driven even the most prime borrowers to seek non-traditional lenders. It is this situation of exceptional opportunities created by market anomalies that Maxim was formed and structured to take advantage of. The Management Team consists of real estate savvy, alternative financial professionals possessing unique expertise and extensive relationships focused in this highly specialized space. Each financing represents the result of a broad and highly selective process to find the right mix of creditworthiness, asset type, borrower/ guarantor, and conservative loan to value basis which meets Maxim’s stringent investment criteria. The company operates under an investment committee approach targeting transactions with fresh capital from borrowers, cross collateralization (when available), senior loan positions (or very low leverage subordinate debt if not senior) with a stress-tested evaluation of the subject properties.
